A simple graphical overview of a double deep rack installation. This diagram gives you a 360 degree. As the camera pans around the diagram, you can clearly see how the pallets are stacked two deep in each rack. The forklift has to reach past the first rack position to reach the pallet behind it.
Looking at the video, you can see how dense the double deep system is compared to a similar sized standard warehouse pallet rack system. A little extra hassle to access each pallet position, but a much tighter pack density. Double deep racks are good for storing things of like SKU number, so you know that similar parts are packed behind each other.
